Back To Work Already...

I realized today that it is almost time to go back to work. Summer has flown by! School is back in August 20th, I work Monday through Thursday and off on Friday's. I will continue going to school this fall, I had Summer l and ll classes, and I will have 1 week off before work (school)starts and 2weeks before classes begin again. I would like to take the kids to Sea World before it all starts, since we have Season Passes to Sea World San Antonio. But it is so HOT!, at least the price of gas has went down. We are throwing around the idea of going to Disney World on spring break, when it is cooler, and just do some camping around here this fall. Whatever we do, it will be fun!

She's Home...

My baby is home from camp, okay she's not a baby but she will always be my baby. I know she had so much fun but I am sure glad she is back. The camp where she went has everything under the sun for them to do. They horse back riding, two go-cart tracks, bumper boats, water slides, pool, merry go round, banana boat, they take them tubing, they hve two huge game rooms, and so much more. Although there was so much for them to do, the most important thing was the experience with God that was the most fun, the praise and worship was awesome and the services were all about this Journey called Life and what a journey it is. I want to go next year! Yesterday my little boy had one of his friends over, we swam and after we picked up sissy, we went to lunch with a few friends who also came home from camp. After lunch we inherited another one of his friends and we went to the Nature Center, it was way to hot for hiking but we did it. I hope today will not be as busy.

Gone To Camp....

Yesterday we took our daughter to Church Camp, she rode the bus and we followed. Our Church took 74 first to fifth graders. The camp is so awesome, I have never been to a camp like it. They have some much for them to do, it is unreal. We stayed for Chapel and the Praise and Worship was so good, she is going to have such a great time. I miss her so much but it helps knowing how awesome of a time she is going to have. We are small group leaders in Kids Church and we have second grade boys, so I helped them make their beds and made sure they got settled in. They are so funny, they were all taking pictures of their beds and I told them save some film for the rest of the week. I hope I get to go next year as a sponsor.

Tommorrow is my first Exam in American Natioanl Government, I have studied all I can, I am to the point I either know it or not. We have an essay question that is 40% of the test and it is on the Federalist Papers #10 and #51, it has to be a 2 page essay answer. Pray for me! We only have 2 exams, so I have to do good.

Where did the weekend go?

The weekend just flew by. I had an online quizz this weekend for geography, I hope I did well. I got my quizz back today in American National Government and I did really well, better than I expected. Our exam is this friday and I am nervous because we only have 2 exams in this class, so I have to do well or else. I finished my powerpoint today, I had alot of homework today, and now I am going to bed. The kids and I went to Office Depot because they were suppose to have 1cent items but of course they had none of them, but I did find a flashdrive on sale which is good, I needed a 2GB. Well goodnight, tommorrow is another busy day, going to keep the road hot and the gas tank empty.

Kids Growing Up!

Lastnight the kids had Kids Fellowship at church. They were in different places, our Church has a large campus and so we had to drop them at different buildings, it was so weird. At first Noah did not want to go because Sissy was not with him for the first time. We took her to the Youth Center....she is growing up, which is hard for me. They both did fine, my wife and I went on a date, more like time alone. We went to eat dinner and to the mall, exciting stuff. This weekend I have an online quizz, Yeah! I also have to finish my powerpoint on China this weekend. So, I guess I better get started.

Also today I am working on my Powerpoint for Geography, my country is China...I've put it off long enough. I watched 10,000 B.C. when I got home from school, I have had it for almost 2 weeks, I love Netflix, no late fees.

Delta the Horse...

Delta the Horse is the kids horse, she lives at my Grandparents...."The Rocking M Ranch"...as it is called. She is like a puppy, she follows the kids everywhere, I think she would follow them in the house if she was allowed to. Her mom died 2 day after she was born, Grandpa bottled fed her up until the last few weeks, the kids loved that part. She is so cute and when she see's the kids, she runs over to the fence and starts talking to them....well in horse language that is.

Map Project is done...

We finished it, I have never used the Elmers Spray Craft Glue but it was cool, it stuck so well. We painted the frame, we cut down our free cardboard from Sam's, and glued the map which was also free from Papa, and wha-la....a framed map for less than $8.00.

Thank You Sam's...

The kids and I went looking for a piece of something, board, cardboard, something. Noah has a world map that we have had on his wall with just thumbtacks and it started wrinkling since it has warmed up. I bought an open back frame yesterday on clearance at Hobby Lobby for $3.20, not bad huh? So, we needed a 32x44 inch of backing to attatch the map to. We went to Lowe's and could not find anything that size and did not want to buy a whole piece of board, we asked them if they had any cardboard that we could have and without checking they said NO, sorry. So, we went to Sam's and asked and the girl was so nice, and she even helped us dig it out. So, now we have a project to work on. And thanks to Sam's we didn't have to buy any pricey piece of wood. The frame will dress his map up and look good in his room. Little things make me Happy!

Air Conditioning...

The Air Conditioner went out on my truck and I've been putting it off for a couple of months now. I got it fixed today and it was so nice, its blowing nice and cold now, and my wallet is so much lighter. I also went to the College and bought my book for my Summer ll class, $74.00 for one American National Government book....crazy. I start Monday and I'm looking forward to getting started. Brought the kids bike home from Grandma's house, they have been in her garage. Our street is very quiet, so I think as long as I am with them we can ride on our street, or go to the park.....
